The short version

You can use every feature of this site — the checker, every state page — without creating an account or telling us who you are. Your checker selections run in your browser and are not sent to our servers. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to send through the contact form.

What we collect

• Contact form. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. Form delivery is handled by FormSubmit.co, which processes your submission to deliver it to our inbox. We use this information only to respond to you.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Third-party ad vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Analytics

If we use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic (which pages are popular, which states people search for), that data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We don’t require accounts, logins, or signups.
• We don’t send marketing email.
• This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you (which, for most visitors, is nothing beyond a contact-form message). To exercise any of these rights, or to ask us to delete a message you sent, reach us via the contact page.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
